Vito Zarrillo is a Creative Director at Carbon Design where he has brought to life marketing and communication plans for multi-national, multi-industry brands.
Prior to Carbon Design, Vito was the Executive Creative Director of gyro New York and was responsible for the creative output of the agency- you’ll hear more about this later.
Vito began his advertising career at Doremus, Omnicom’s premier Business-to-Business Advertising Agency, an art director on Ace Group, Rabobank, United Technologies, McGraw Hill and WNYC radio. Upon leaving Doremus, he moved to Cline Davis Mann’s digital arm working on pharmaceutical clients such as Genentech and Pfizer. From there he moved to Fathom Advertising where he worked on global clients such as LG, Midori and Knoll Furniture. From there he freelanced at many great agencies and met many wonderful people but the pull to find a “home” again was strong.
For the 10 years, Vito was an integral part of the agency’s growth and evolution. He oversaw the complete re-branding/go-to-market creative as well as content creation for Time Inc., Hiscox Insurance, Hilton, EmblemHealth, TD Ameritrade Institutional and Capital One to name a few.
Vito is driven to inspire those around him to incessantly think about client business problems to craft smart, effective and beautiful pieces of communication. In doing so he has won at the D&AD, NY Festivals, London International Awards, ADDYs, Webbys, Effies, Global ACE, BMA B2, and the Art Directors Club awards.
Although he is proud of the awards, he is even prouder of the results he has delivered for his clients.
